Event for International Education Day - 26th Jan2020
Event for International Education Day
On January 24th was celebrated the International Education Day and we prepared an exposition to show what Fujitsu does for the education.
On the
first hand, we found success stories from Fujitsu around the World that
probably nearly nobody is aware of most of them. I would like to share with you
some of them as we did with our mates in Barcelona because I think they worth
it:
- - Future classroom project based on developing ICT-based
lessons for each subject, a study carried out in Spain called The road to digital learning realized on 7 advanced
technologically in education countries
- - Fujitsu trains a new generation of
Mainframe engineers in its Enterprise Platform Services Academy in Spain: Fujitsu faces the
growing shortage of knowledge of Mainframe engineers, creating the Business
Platform Services Academy (EPS Academy), which offers improved training
options. Thanks to sharing specialized knowledge with the new generation of
engineers, Fujitsu offers organizations the assurance that they will be able to
keep their mainframes running in the future.
- - Gifu University from Japan asked Fujitsu to
build a Strategic Integration Database that could pull data together and
present it visually to improve education quality
- - Technology tools used in education
have exceeded all the expectations with Fujitsu ESPRIMO PCs: Under a joint project, Fujitsu and
Klebelsberg Center from Hungary provided 7000 technology tools to the
students of nearly 600 schools.
- - Education for all in remote areas in South Africa: Movable
container typed The Edu-Smart Green Centres with a solar panel.
- - Other important Education activities what Fujitsu leads globally to improve education around the world.
- - Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School in Thailand: The introduction of the Education Support System had improved the relationship between teachers and students.
On the
other hand, we exposed Spain government 10 targets in education to have access
to quality education. In this way, they want to ensure inclusive and equitable
quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. As well
as this, we showed a reminding of the different tools for accessing information
that we have from our company in reference to the professional career. Moreover,
on a screen, with a projector, they had a didactic section with the SDGs dashboard
of the world map where they could consult the 17 indicators with the current
evaluation of each country.
Last but
not least, we set a “Question section” where visitants could answer some of the
questions hanging on the wall for all to see and leave their opinion if they
felt like.
Personally,
I have learnt many remarkable unknown Fujitsu activities and I think they can
be for the interest of anyone and I enjoyed preparing the exposition with my
fabulous team and giving support whom it needs it, as well. I hope you learn
new curiosities of the company like me and if you want to share your opinion
I’ll be happy to meet it.
